For more than a century, long before toxic cleaners and bleaches were invented, Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) was used as an effective antimicrobial in a variety of essential, even life-saving applications.

Discovered in the late 1800’s, it was first used as an antiseptic in hospitals and clinics, eliminating bacteria on hard surfaces. Patients whose surgeries used HOCl for irrigating wounds, recovered fully in nearly half the time, and with far fewer infectious complications.

Commercially, HOCl was quickly adopted in restaurants, hotels and supermarkets, as a cleaning agent that was safe around foods and fresh produce.

Industrially, HOCl became well known in emerging manufacturing and tooling as a highly effective degreasing agent.

During the recent pandemic, HOCl sprays and liquids were widely available, unlike their toxic counterparts. As businesses, daycares, schools and churches began to reopen after the pandemic, HOCl remained the safe antimicrobial alternative to harmful chemicals found in competing spray cleaners, once they were back on store shelves.

As a hypoallergenic skin and body treatment, HOCl creams and liquids are now used to treat rashes, redness, swelling, acne, age spots, scarring and a variety of dermatological issues, improving the health, smoothness and elasticity of skin– safe for all ages and skin types. Even pets can benefit from HOCl to keep their delicate skin and coat clean and healthy.

Today, Hypochlorous Acid has widespread uses in almost every part of our daily lives.

Toxic chemicals are everywhere; in the air we breathe and the oceans that support all life on Earth, right down to the water we drink to stay alive and well.

Replacing typical household cleaning products with environmentally safe HOCl will have a profound effect on the health of our planet and all its inhabitants.
